1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage facilities located in Lambeth. By renting a storage unit from us, you accept these terms in full.
2. Definitions
- Provider: Storage Lambeth, the operator of the storage facilities.
- User: Any individual or entity that rents a storage unit.
- Agreement: The contract outlining the terms and conditions between the Provider and the User.
3. Rental Terms
3.1 Booking and Payment
To rent a storage unit, you must complete a booking process and provide valid payment information. Payment is due monthly in advance, and failure to pay on time may result in termination of the rental agreement.
3.2 Duration of Rental
Rental agreements are typically on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise specified. Either party may terminate the agreement with a 30-day written notice.
4. Use of Storage Units
Users agree to use the storage units solely for storing personal or business property. Illegal, hazardous, or perishable items are strictly prohibited.
4.1 Prohibited Items
- Explosives and flammable materials
- Perishable goods
- Illegal substances
- Valuables such as jewelry, cash, and important documents
5. Access and Security
Users are granted access to their storage units during the facility's operating hours. It is the responsibility of the User to secure their unit with a provided lock. Storage Lambeth is not liable for any loss or damage to the contents of the storage units.
5.1 Surveillance
Our facilities are monitored 24/7 with CCTV cameras to ensure the security of all stored items.
6. Liability
Storage Lambeth provides storage space on an 'as-is' basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our storage facilities.
6.1 Insurance
Users are advised to obtain their own insurance to cover the value of the items stored.
7. User Responsibilities
- Ensure that the items stored do not violate any laws.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the storage unit.
- Promptly inform the Provider of any issues or damages to the unit.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the rental agreement with a 30-day notice. Upon termination, Users must remove all items from the storage unit. Failure to do so may result in the Provider disposing of the contents without liability.
8.1 Early Termination
Early termination by the User may incur additional fees as outlined in the rental agreement.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Storage Lambeth operates.
10. Amendments
Storage Lambeth reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be taken to arbitration as per the governing laws.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the User and Storage Lambeth, superseding all prior agreements or understandings.
By renting a storage unit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
